The "Team PC" Ambassador Initiative
We know some folks in the pet trading/pound chat community have wanted to see a PC Ambassador and are disappointed that it hasn't been added as a category this year. Worry not, there are ambassadors who are PCers themselves who have advocated behind the scenes both in the past and present, and are excited to try and tackle some PC specific issues this year. Three ambassadors from the 2026-2027 cohort have come together to host this petpage and represent PCers. In addition to their existing roles, supporting this important part of the Neopets community is a passion project and we hope to do the PC proud!

Who should I contact and what should I contact them for?
First off, please see if your question, idea, or concern is already addressed on this page. Secondly, contact any of these three ambassadors you feel comfortable contacting via neomail (or check the ambassador portal for alternative means of contact)! You can suggest ideas for the improvement of pet trading or share any other community feedback you feel is relevant! Please remember we are unpaid volunteers! The last official update that I'm personally aware of on purging inactive account/pet names was in the August 2025 AMA:
...The reason why we didn't do the purge for user accounts is because we realized that a lot of our formed lapsed users are really excited with the potential of claiming their old account back and that has been the main driver for the past two years in terms of our site activity (...) what I've noticed in person at a lot of these events is when people notice that Neopets is still around they wanted to come back but when they know that they have a chance to claim their childhood account back and say hi to their childhood memories that's an immediate yes and it's like the biggest draw for us (...) βΈ» TNT Dom, August 7 2025 Neopets Live We have no further updates on this subject at this time. |

Things To Consider Before Sending In Your Suggestion |
Before sending in your suggestion, please ask yourself the following question: How would this affect the trading economy?Would it be good for trading? Bad for trading? Would it ruin years of work and achievement? Would it completely upend everything (derogatory)? Sure, bringing unconverted petpets back as normal items *sounds* great, everyone loves Fat Cat, but what about people who had original UCP2s and worked hard to trade for them? Letting everyone give their pets a display name that can be whatever they want SOUNDS cool until it makes pet trading largely pointless for a lot of people and introduces a whole hassle of potential database issues with legacy code. (For example: a working alternative for that first idea would be a petpet that LOOKS like a Fat Cat but is a different color!)
